Sue, one of the members of our group, has a watch that she thinks belonged to her 4 x great grandfather Thomas Fletcher (1766-1827). Thomas farmed at Croppin(g)s Farm which was situated at the top of Jiggers Bank, Coalbrookdale.
On the silver case is scratched (not engraved!) ‘T F’ and the silver mark is Birmingham 1808. Inside the watch the makers name and mark is engraved ‘Wm Lyseter Ironbridge’ with the number 1013.
